A lot has happened.....
....in the past six weeks and so little time for blogging. So a quick update: On Day 5, 6 and 7 of the New York trip a lot has happened, we have seen a lot, filmed a lot and it was a great experience. Donald Trumps Cousin showed us around town for two days. We saw the grave of Kallstadt emigrant Friedrich Trump and seen lots of great buildings which were built by the Trump Company. Really impressive! Honestly, this trip was simply necessary. The contacts we made are really lucky for our movie. And we are well prepared for next years Steuben Parade. We saw how this enormous party works and could give our Kallstadt natives invaluable advice for their great trip. Wonderful, we are so excited about it all!
Last Friday we quickly stopped by ( which is a lie, nothing is quick and a stopover when we are doing things for our movie because we like to do things properly), well last friday we opened a great exhibition at the roZku gallery in Mannheim, together with Melanie Hubach.
Until the 23rd of December, you can get a first impression of our movie and see photographs of the five calendars from the Freinsheim region where our local wine princesses feature as calender girls. Have fun, we are looking forward to your visit! The gallery opening was wonderful. Have fun there! Oh, and last but not least, a day before the opening, Sarah Bühler was crowned as the new wine princess of the Freinsheim region at the Kallstadt tourist office. We were there. And we were at the fire brigade training last Friday and went Nordic Walking with Conny the day before that.....
… Lots to do ! Tomorrow all Kallstadt people and their friends will assemble at the information evening for the great trip next year. Ulrich Papenheim of Merican-Travels will come to the Kallstadt community center especially to plan the great New York trip with us. We're hoping that lots of people will join us on the trip!
